Amazing!!!!!
We got married on 31.12.2025 at The Blackhorse and had Richard and Courtney from Lux as our photographers (with videographer, Photo Booth and audio guestbook too) — and honestly, they were fantastic!
From meeting them at a wedding fayre back in February 2024, we knew straight away they would be the photographers for us. Richard completely understood the vibe we wanted and made us feel so relaxed from the start. On the day itself, they went above and beyond in ways we would have never expected. They aren’t just there to take your photos, they were both there to make our day as special as it could be, and they did it!
When we were let down last minute by a supplier for garden games, Richard arranged arcade games and had them delivered to the venue within minutes. When my niece struggled with the noise, he even offered to get her noise-cancelling headphones. So many of our guests commented on how amazing, friendly and helpful they both were throughout the day.
And the photos… wow. We received our digital album last weekend and they are absolutely incredible — better than we could ever have imagined.
If you’re thinking about booking through Lux, do it. You will not be disappointed!!

From our very first conversation with Richard and seeing the LUX Photography portfolio, we knew they were exactly who we wanted to trust with our special day.
Every interaction throughout the entire experience was fantastic. Richard was always so supportive and happy to answer our questions along the way, and our engagement shoot was such a special part of the journey. It really put us at ease ahead of the wedding and gave us some of our favourite photos. These are memories we’ll treasure forever.
Having both photography and videography as part of our package was one of the best decisions we made. Our wedding video, photos, and 1-minute snapshot have brought us so much joy, and our family and friends constantly comment on the quality of the content. It’s clear the team took the time to get to know us and what mattered most to us.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use LUX wedding photography for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they were professional, friendly, and truly passionate about their work.
They brought us brilliant ideas in our pre wedding meet, including using bubbles to entertain and encourage the toddlers to enjoy having their photos taken.
On the big day, they captured every moment so beautifully—both the big emotions and the little details we would have otherwise missed.

I cannot give enough stars for Richard and the team at LUX photography, from start to finish they were absolutely superb. Booking them was super straightforward and we had a call with them about a month before the wedding. Richard made us so comfortable and at ease that we knew straight away we’d made the right decision. We booked to have photography, videography, drone, a photo booth and sweet cart and I can’t speak highly enough. Due to the distance, Richard and his daughter Ash came down the night before and met us as well go through final details and they turned up (with another photographer) Saturday morning promptly and ready to get started. The team were there from start to finish for both myself and the groom and we wouldn’t have known photos were going on other than the ‘staged’ ones. We got a sneak peek of photos 24 hours later and the rest of the photos about 8 weeks after. This was truly worth the wait and the photographs are exceptional, we can’t wait now to receive the videos. Richard and the team were fantastic and I will recommend them to everyone who asks. So worth the money and it’s clear in the final results just how much time was spent capturing our day

We had Ross as our photographer for our wedding and he was excellent throughout the whole process! We had a great connection with Ross from our first meeting. Really approachable and instantly understood what we were looking for. He advised us on a great photo package which we think gave us everything we needed for our day, including the “Glam Booth” which our guests loved. Before the wedding, Ross told us to create a list of photos we didn’t want to be missed, which meant we could relax on the day knowing this was taken care of. On the day Ross was amazing at guiding us through our couple shots which have turned out great. We had Courtney and Ross as our photographers for our wedding day and they both immediately knew exactly what we wanted and had so many fun ideas! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. I honestly couldn't have asked for more from the entire team at Lux for making my day that extra bit special. We booked the photographer & videographer along with the sweet cart, photo booth & arcade games. Everything fitted it perfectly with my big day and the guests loved it aswell. The photo booth went down a storm so would highly recommend. Richard and Courtney was everything and more we could of asked for on our special day... they really are amazing at what they do, the experience really does show. They honestly couldn't of done anymore for us, anything we asked for was never a problem. They was like our guests while doing there job. In our package deal we got a free photo booth and was a massive hit on our day, all our guests had sooo much fun and couldn't get enough of it, our guests still mention how amazing the photobooth and photographer/videographer was! "I honestly cannot recommended LUX highly enough they are the best photographers and are experts in their craft! All our guests complemented how fantastic they were, they blended in seamlessly and caught the best moments of the entire day! They worked tirelessly from 9am all the way until midnight for our New Years Eve wedding and I cannot thank Richard and his team enough! The photos are better than we could have imagined, the staged, group and candid photos we love every single one! They’re the friendliest team so just fit in and make you feel so at ease and ensure everyone is where they should be! We also went for the 360 Photo Booth and audio guestbook which were both a huge hit, the video footage is incredible and the guestbook audio is an awesome keepsake. We booked the Lux team and from day one the communication was absolutely outstanding, even down the payment policy where you can just pay as and when you like via PayPal suited us brilliantly. Richard and the team are absolutely sensational at what they do, like little ninjas who managed to capture every moment perfectly. To say we are happy with our LUX experience is an understatement, towards the wedding date Richard was one of my top whatsapp contacts and he is so wholesome yet professional which is such a perfect balance. One of my favourite memories of our wedding day is my rather drunk husband having a spontaneous business meeting with Richard, groom with whiskey in hand about how he could be charging double his prices in which Richard responded "I don't because I just love what I do" and you can feel that in his work. Value for money is beyond words, we had 2 photographers, Ash the LUX videographer who also made us some amazing content reels, arcade game, photobooth, cold spark fountains (highly recommend) and guest telephone (all from Lux) all for the same price as what we were quoted for one photographer from another supplier.
