Waking up to the news this morning that LUX Wedding Photography has been named Best North East Wedding Photographer for 2026 has us lost for words. Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you that voted for us, sent us lovely messages of support and for having us at your wedding and trusting us with your wedding photography and videography.

We truly love what we do and feel so very honoured each time were picked to support a couple on their wedding day, so winning this award means more than any of you could know

Looking Ahead to More Weddings in 2026

Although we couldn’t attend the awards ceremony due to a wedding commitment, the award will soon be with us, and we look forward to sharing photos of it.

2026 has had an amazing start for us, it just seems to be getting better and better and we still have so many more weddings still to come, were all so excited ... for those booked in with us we'll be seeing you all soon :-) and for everyone else keep an eye on facebook and instagram for regular updates, reels and sneak peeks from the weddings we shoot, we've got some great ideas for photos and videos this year so watch this space.
